What is the difference between pandoro and panettone?
Shape, origin, and flavor profile. Panettone is Milanese, cylindrical, and loaded with candied fruit and raisins. Pandoro is Veronese, eight-pointed star-shaped, and purely butter-and-vanilla with no inclusions. Pandoro has a lighter, more airy crumb; panettone is denser and fruitier. Neither is better — they are different arguments.
