Vegane Currywurst (Vegan Currywurst)

Heat a grill pan or a frying pan with a little oil over medium-high heat. Cook the vegan sausages according to package instructions, typically 8-12 minutes, until nicely browned and heated through.

While the sausages cook, prepare the vegan curry sauce: Sauté finely chopped onion in a small saucepan with a tiny bit of oil until translucent. Add ketchup, curry powder, sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

Once cooked, remove vegan sausages from the pan and slice them into thick rounds (approx. 2 cm). Place the sliced sausages on plates.

Pour a generous amount of the warm vegan curry sauce over the sliced sausages. Sprinkle with extra curry powder for garnish. Serve immediately, traditionally with a side of French fries or a bread roll.
